Mongoose Bodyworks offers
Pilates sessions in Soho NYC, in a tranquil and focused setting. All levels are welcome. Sessions are 55 minutes and are taught on both the equipment and the mat. The studio is dedicated to teaching students a deeper understanding of the body. We focus on using the mind to create deep physical changes in our bodies. Our goals are also embodied in our namesake the mongoose. Mongooses are known for their flexibility, strength and intelligence. Pilates Sessions can also be taken as duets; in this case the session is shared with another client. We find this works best if you find a friend to be your duet partner.
Our Reformer Trios have a maximum of three students, are taught primarily on the Pilates Reformer and are open to all levels. This class will provide a well-rounded workout that builds strength, flexibility and body awareness. Although it is not mandatory we do suggest a minimum of one private session before signing up for Trios, especially if you are new to Pilates
We offer small group classes of 3-4 students. These classes are open to all levels and require that the student makes an effort to learn the exercises. Although it is not mandatory we do suggest a minimum of one private session before signing up for our group classes, especially if you are new to Pilates.
